Game of Thrones fans rejoice! In spring 2020 we can once again travel to the Seven Kingdoms. The masterminds at HBO have teamed up with Linen Mill Studios in Northern Ireland to present a Game of Thrones Studio Tour.
The Game of Thrones Legacy in Northern Ireland
The Game of Thrones Studio Tour is one of a few projects in the pipeline that will create new experiences for fans of the series. Soon you will be able to see first hand the craftsmanship and artistry of the creative teams who brought this unforgettable series to life.
30 minutes drive south-west of Belfast, the Linen Mill Studios in Banbridge was used as the set for Riverrun and featured as the base for Euron Greyjoy’s ship scenes. In total, a third of the show's filming in Northern Ireland was shot in Banbridge.
What to Expect from the Game of Thrones Studio Tour
The studio tour will enable fans to visit the iconic sets, props and costumes from the show. Using state of the art technology you'll be able to travel beyond the Wall, as well as to Winterfell, Kings Landing and to other kingdoms in Westeros and relive all those dramatic moments from the series.
