New Zealand: BoyRaukokore Bridge
Let's be honest, at first glance there is nothing special about this bridge other than it's just got one-lane (which is not unusual for bridges in rural New Zealand). But then you find out that the Kiwi-cult film Boy takes place here, and suddenly you realise it's pretty damn special after all.
The riverbank under the bridge is where Weirdo usually hangs out to collect various pieces of flotsam and jetsam.
Boy's brother Rocky can be found hanging out here quite often, too.
In fact, the two of them get along pretty well.
But Boy prefers to have an overview of what's going on. Which, as you can see, is heaps.
