United States: LongmireLas Vegas (New Mexico)
Want to visit the key locations at the heart of Netflix's Longmire series? Then there's no going past Las Vegas (New Mexico that is), stand in for the fictional town of Durant in Wyoming.
The Sheriff's Office
What small-town American crime drama worth its salt doesn't feature a Sheriff's office? After Walt's Cabin, the next most iconic loacation in Longmire is the Sheriff's Department. The door is easy to find and located on the southwest side of Las Vegas' central plaza.

Thanks to a smart business owner, the entrance door still sports the Absaroka County Sheriff's Department badge.

Don't expect to meet Walt here: His office was constructed at Garsons Studios in Santa Fe.

The Plaza Hotel
The Plaza Hotel at 230 Plaza Street is visible in the background of many shots in Longmire, and has appeared in several other movies over the years - most prominently the Coen Brothers' Academy Award winning film No Country for Old Men.

You might even find a park in Walt's usual spot on the plaza. Here, Walt's Bronco is parked in front of the hotel.
The Southwest Capital Bank
Remember when 'Cowboy Bill' robbed the bank in Season 6, Episode 8 of Longmire? The scene of the crime can be found at the Southwest Capital Bank in 622 Douglas Avenue.

Sheriff Walter Longmire and his colleagues investigate the robbery.
The Carnegie Library
The Carnegie Library at 500 National Avenue appears in the background of the driving exchange between Walt and Henry in Season Four, Episode 1: Down By the River.

The library is open all week except on Sundays.
The Drive-In Movie Theatre
The Fort Union Drive-In Movie Theatre at 3300 7th Street was the scene of a murder in Season 1, Episode 10: Unfinished Business. Opened in 1958, this classic drive-in theater shows mainstream movies on a single outdoor screen.

There are fewer than 350 drive-in theaters remaining in the United States.
Text and location photos were provided by avid fans of the show Chad and Lisa Coppess. They run an excellent Longmire Locations Facebook group.
