United States: Stranger ThingsHawkins Middle and High School
While Mike, Will, Dustin and Lukas spend their days at Hawkins Middle School, the same building doubles as Hawkins High attended by Nancy, Jonathan, Steve and Billy. The school, otherwise known as the Patrick Henry High School, closed in 2015.
The school buildings are located in Stockbridge, 10 kilometres south of Atlanta. Some of the facilities are now rented out, while the middle segment of the complex houses the Patrick Henry Adult Education Centre.

...and sadly you won't find any more cool yellow busses on site.

About the Story - Season 1:

It's 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.
